HD DualStream™
HD DualStream™ incorporates the latest and most effective ways to transmit data to the remote sites of a videoconference (point-to-point, multipoint or streaming). With VCON's HD DualStream™, the person sending data has several choices about what kind of data to send and how it will be transmitted. HD DualStream™ now offers H.239 support. The products that incorporate this technology are vPoint HD, VCBPro, xPoint, HD7000, HD7000Pro, HD4000 and HD4000Pro.
When sending data and video from any of the products above, the user can push pictures/graphics files, documents and other types of files straight from their laptop or PC. There are multiple ways of sending data when using the room systems, including external laptop sharing and sharing a file on a USB key. The desktop systems can share any file or program from their PC. If the system on the remote side of the videoconference is compatible with VCON's HD DualStream™, they will receive the data as the main image with the local video in the PIP. They can swap these images easily (PIP and data) during the conference.
The latest innovation from VCON is the ability to stream any conference, both point-to-point, and multipoint calls, enabling passive viewing of the conference to any number of participants, using the freely distributed conference viewer.

If the system on the remote site is not capable of receiving an HD DualStream, the data will show up instead of the remote video, and the PIP will be of local video.
The VCB allows all conference participants to send HD DualStream signals to the other participants in the conference.
