xPoints The xPoint is VCON’s high-performance executive room conferencing system that delivers TV-quality, 720p incoming video and crisp, CD-quality audio over both IP and ISDN networks. Offering 6-site multipoint calling ability, DualStream™ technology and session-recording/streaming capabilities unique to VCON endpoints, xPoint delivers full-featured functionality in a single, easy-to-use appliance. xPointLT is an affordable option suitable for users who need an all‐in‐one medium‐entry level videoconference solution. xPointLT 's slim point‐to‐point or multipoint embedded MCU 1+3 model, driven by VCON's powerful xPoint software is suitable for mid‐to‐medium manager‐to‐student entry level wireless conference room communications. xPointLT consists of a stream‐lined slim box, which is nearly weightless (1.08kg) and boasts a uniquely no‐fan system which is noiseless, and resilient to dust. It can be placed on a Desktop or be mounted onboard a monitor, as a back‐mount.
xPointHD is an All-in-One High Definition videoconferencing system. xPointHD has an embedded MCU capability of up to 1+8, recording and streaming of up to 1000h SD, 500h HD and can conduct calls of up to 6Mb. The xPointHD can propagate a HD picture using special HD Camera equipment and off-board accessories. xPointHD supports a resolution of 1080p (incoming), and the software license modularity can be applied according to Hardware core strength. The implementation of the license package is dependent on hardware capabilities.

vPointHD. VCON's vPoint HD combines software-only, high definition audio and video with outstanding features and functionality. The high definition image quality provided by 4CIF, 720p and incoming 1080p Full HD technology (Executive Model only) enables the sharpest images in natural color and full motion. vPoint provides a superior collaboration environment, enabling various forms of data sharing with the remote side by utilizing a detachable data window. Among vPoint HD ’s advanced capabilities is the ability to send and receive video and data streams simultaneously using VCON ’s DualStream™ technology. vPoint HD includes a built -in vMail application, allowing users to send video e -mails as well as record and play local videos. vPoint HD is a versatile, key application for any PC or laptop user, in organizations of any size.
Infrastructure
Media Xchange Manager® (MXM) The award-winning management suite for videoconferencing, VCON's Media eXchange Manager (MXM) is the heart of any integrated conferencing solution. A flexible and versatile management platform, the MXM supports H.323 and SIP conferencing clients and provides gateway functionality for both legacy ISDN and advanced technologies. From a single console in the office, home or on the road, it provides the ability to configure, monitor, manage, upgrade and enforce company conferencing policies on any videoconferencing client in an organization. MXM can scale from as few as ten users to thousands of users worldwide. No other management platform provides all the features and functionality included in the MXM and no other system is as simple and easy to configure, install and utilize.
Video Conferencing Bridge (VCBproHD) An all-in-one, high definition MCU that integrates multipoint conferencing and advanced video management capabilities, VCBproHD now also offers video recording, streaming and scheduling. An advanced yet easy-to-use solution that optimizes your enterprise's videoconferencing network, the VCBproHD includes an embedded MXM and also comprises features such as Continuous Presence for up to 25 participants at a time, and a special Presenter Mode for remote education and other vertical markets. The VCBproHD includes all the latest audio, video and data algorithms, ensuring that calls involving standards-based videoconferencing endpoints connect and operate smoothly. The VCBproHD is scalable from 6 to 36 ports and now offers a unique and configurable cascading capability across multiple VCBs for larger conferences.
Firewall / NAT Traversal (NetPoint) VCON NetPoint safely extends the benefits of IP-based video Communications beyond the edges of the managed data network. It enables video communication with any H.323 device using public IP, or any H.460 device. NetPoint is designed to enable firewall transversal for both inbound and outbound video traffic. It allows video endpoints behind firewalls to communicate in a real time environment with other endpoints in both LAN/WAN and internet, regardless of firewall/NAT.
NetPoint enables endpoints to connect with VCON Media Xchange Manager, (MXM), located behind firewalls, benefit from optimized videoconferencing quality and all MxM management features in an advanced and secure environment.
Network equipment To supply VCON’s customers with complete videoconferencing solutions, EVC must address the customer's needs for multipoint conferencing, interconnecting ISDN and IP-based systems and network administration and management capabilities. EVC sells multipoint control units, or MCUs, which are used to connect three (3) or more videoconferencing systems into single conference using technologies such as voice-activated video and audio switching, so that the participants can see and hear the person currently speaking. EVC also sells video gateways that allow interconnection of IP-based and ISDN networks.
This allows multiple IP-based systems to share a limited number of ISDN lines for connection outside an organization's network or allows ISDN-based systems to call into an organization and connect with their IP-based systems. In addition, EVC sells gate-keeping software that controls the access and bandwidth utilized in videoconferencing systems on an IP network. This software controls access to network resources such as bandwidth, MCUs and gateways. EVC purchases and resells MCUs and gateways manufactured by RadVision. By offering this equipment with its videoconferencing products, EVC believes it provides its customers with complete networking solutions.
Software Development Kit
High Definition Development Kit (HDDK) HDDK is a set of software libraries and tools available to integrators and software developers seeking to add standards-based, customized, high definition visual communications over ISDN or IP to their own software or hardware platforms. Transmitting and receiving up to 720p resolution (1080p incoming) and with full-feature functionality, the HDDK is the optimum choice for developers who wish to easily integrate videoconferencing into existing or new applications. Advanced features offered include multipoint videoconferencing, session recording capabilities, traffic and network management and integration with VCON's industry-leading infrastructure solutions, VCBproHD and MXM.
